Limelight Magazine, the leading classical music magazine of Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, has announced that Andreas Scholl has received the International Artist of the Year - People’s Choice Award 2024.

Andreas Scholl commented: “It is an incredible honor to receive this prestigious award, especially in the company of such talented colleagues whom I deeply admire. Working with the remarkable Australian World Orchestra has been an immensely rewarding experience on so many levels. From the exceptional musicianship of each player to the inspiring leadership of the amazing Madeline Easton, this ensemble embodies true dedication and artistry. What stands out most to me is the group’s unwavering commitment to fostering meaningful and inspired musical connections with its guest artists and their audiences. I couldn’t have imagined a more extraordinary group of musical friends to share the joy of singing with in Australia once again.”
